Last week I stumbled upon The Modern Proper and found this delicious recipe, The Six Ingredient Super Green Smoothie. I’ve been craving veggies and fruits a lot lately, so why not consume them in a delicious smoothie form, right? This smoothie is incredibly refreshing, has a good amount of protein in it, and I’m a big fan of matcha so I love that part too. Although if you aren’t the biggest fan of coconut oil, I would definitely suggest you leave that part out.
I changed up a couple of ingredients to suit the items I had in my cupboard at the time, so here is my version of the Green Smoothie!
1 1/2 cups chopped kale, ribs removed
1 1/2 cups frozen mango
2 tablespoons coconut oil, in liquid form
1 3/4 cup almond milk
1 frozen banana
1 tablespoon matcha powder
Add all of ingredients to blender and blend until completely smooth.
