This past while the standard items to make a home on my nightstand have been ginger candies, my water bottle, kleenex, and tums…not the most exciting or visually pleasing items, amiright? So I decided it was time to make it a little bit more pretty and clean some things up. Turns out putting those candies in a drawer and rearranging a couple little items makes a huge difference, even on a little nightstand. Oh and of course purchasing the nightstand TARVA from IKEA and adding a cool handle from Anthropologie to it as well.
(P.S. My hospital bag has made its way to beside my bed table now so I can start throwing items into it! )
I’m currently obsessed with a couple of books which I keep in my nightstand…
MAN REPELLER BY LEANDRA MEDINE : What a hilarious and refreshing book! Leandra’s openness, humour, and her incredible style are just a few reasons why you should read this book. I’m currently reading it for the second time and I’m laughing just as hard, if not harder, than the first time.
THE KINFOLK HOME BY NATHAN WILLIAMS : I think I have sticky note’d about 75% of this book for ideas I’d like to incorporate into our home. The interviews and interior styling are both incredible and it’s a gorgeous looking book. Win-Win.
THE SARTORIALIST : X BY SCOTT SCHUMAN : I’ve been following Scott Schumans blog for years now and I love every one of his books too. This one is no exception. Pages and pages of gorgeous street style are captured and this book is just a piece of art.
DRESSER: TARVA by IKEA , KNOB: ANTHROPOLOGIE , CANDLE: BLATIC AMBER by VOLUSPA, CANDLE DRIP TRAY: VINTAGE, LAMP: IKEA (discontinued), WATER BOTTLE: SWELL
