A+B Honeymoon Vacay : Part 1 – The Overview

We’re married! Adam and I are officially husband and wife, and I could not be more ecstatic. Being this man’s wife is just incredible, and I feel honoured to spend the rest of my life with him.

For our honeymoon, we travelled to Brooklyn, New York, then flew to Copenhagen, Denmark, trained to Stockholm, Sweden, trained back to Copenhagen and then stopped off in Toronto, Ontario for a day on our way home! It was an incredible trip with many adventures and I can’t wait to tell you all about it.

I took two memory cards full of photographs, as well as hundreds on my iPhone, so until I go through them all, I’m going to post just a couple that I posted on my Instagram account (that I took with my iPhone…hence the quality).

^^  Planning our day in our room at the Wythe Hotel (seriously guys, check this place out! It’s super cool and I need to get back there). ^^

^^  Our view from the bar, The Ides, on the 6th floor at the Wythe Hotel. ^^

^^  Just before we left for Copenhagen, we had some wonderful cocktails at The Reynard. They were gooooood. ^^

^^  Okay, so this micro-brewery, Mikkeller, is out of this world. It’s chill, cool, and has superb beer. I’d have to say it was my favourite place we visited in Copenhagen. ^^

^^  This beauty of a place is a premium shopping department store called Illum, and it is just as incredible as it looks. We went in their three times, but spent a limited time in it each time because there was too many good brands in that place and I didn’t want to spend all our money! Seriously guys, Acne Studios?! 3.1 Phillip Lim?! Karl Lagerfeld?! Aaaah… ^^

^^  Oh Copenhagen, you are lovely and colourful. ^^

^^  We were able to see the changing of the guards at Amalienborg Palace, which is right across from the winter residence of the Danish Royal Family. I’ve always had a special place in my heart for visiting Palaces, and this one was quite stunning. ^^

^^   We decided to train it from Copenhagen to Stockholm and then back again, just for some extra adventures. Well, let me tell you all, we sure had a big adventure on the way home. Stay tuned for that madness of a story! ^^

^^  Okay, this Palace, The Royal Palace in Stockholm, was just beyond! And of course, this is the one Palace I didn’t bring my big camera to because we headed to the Of Monsters And Men concert afterwards and I didn’t want to “lug” it around. Big mistake. I’d tour this Palace once a year if I lived in Stockholm, that’s how captivated I was by it. The photograph is from the very stylish exhibition called “The Lilian Look!” which is a commemoration of what would be Princess Lilian’s 100th Birthday. They are showing 30 garments she wore during her 30 years of royal representation and most of these garments were made by Wondrak Couture. ^^

^^  Right outside The Royal Palace. ^^

^^  This concert. Of Monster And Men. How do I put into words how much I enjoyed this concert? I have to admit I already had high expectations walking into it, their albums are so very good! But they somehow exceeded my expectations, and left me feeling incredibly inspired. Anyone want to start a band with me? ^^

^^ During our day in Toronto, we made it all the way up the CN Tower, and what a view! I wanted to grab a chair and sit there for the entire day. ^^

I can’t wait to share all of the adventures and memories we made from this trip!
